In preparation for an exciting play date with a new friend, Maya woke early and wrote this note:

Yep. Thanks for wanting me. This sentiment will give real meaning to the superficial Valentine's pageantry dripping from every storefront. Again I'm moved to celebrate this silly holiday by flipping it on its ear and showing the loving, supportive, and accepting people in my life just how much they are wanted and just how thankful I am to be wanted in return.
