Somehow, they are best friends outside. The girls run from invisible monsters holding hands, create sandbox cupcakes for their captive customer (that's me!), and feed dandelions to those happy chickens.
But inside, small plastic chairs are launched at one or the other's head. Hair is pulled. Toys become hostages.
Maybe the difference isn't that extreme. We do have the occasional happy tea party, but I am looking for creative outlets to keep us busy during this rainy week.
